Castel is a Grade I listed Castle built in the early 1800s in magnificent style. Set on the Cornish coast with wide ranging views the castle and grounds are an absolute dream for any project large or small, from filming to photography, retreats and rural and nature based brands. The wider estate has limitless scope and opportunity.  

The interior of the castle is available for filming and photography by individual request – this is still occupied by the family who built it and is very much a family home. It is a testament to the opulence and glamour of its era and has a vast hall, dining room, library, billiard room, and drawing room, all dressed with the furnishings of the time, wood panelling, huge fireplaces, expansive windows chandeliers, paintings, plush wall coverings and more. The galleried landing and staircase are particularly impressive. 

Outside the castle sits in rolling hills above the sea, with spectacular views all round. The castle is surrounded with award winning gardens which feature beautiful planting, ancient trees, magnolia garden, follies, secret paths, walled gardens, fruit gardens, shrubs, lake, stream and woodlands.

There are several brick built outbuildings, ancient deer park walls, glades and lawns. Outside is also the original Victorian stable block with paved courtyard and clocktower. Private roads surround and criss-cross the estate leading to the castle from its beautiful stone gatehouses.
